Waterville, Maine — After a toe to toe battle with the Polar Bears, both teams remained scoreless to end in a 0-0 tie.
Tonight, Colby faced local Maine NESCAC rival Bowdoin College under the lights on Serdjenian field. MK Marshall was in goal for the Mules. Due to a strong defense on Colby's side of the field, Marshall only faced one shot on goal but a total of nine shot attempts from Bowdoin. Throughout the first half, both teams went back and forth with shot attempts to try to find scoring opportunities but were unable to do so.
Going into the second half, the score remained 0-0, so both teams were looking for their chance to put a point on the board. Despite team-wide efforts, Colby wasn't able to secure a goal, ending in their third tie of the season. At different points in tonight's game, Murphy Leung, Jane Maguire, and Corrigan Rayhill clocked shots on goal for the Mules.
Women's Soccer will be back on Serdjenian field for their Senior Day game versus Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Colby will face MIT on Sunday, October 22nd, at 12:00 p.m.
