Waterville, Maine- Colby Men's Hockey played against the Mammoths of Amherst College earlier today at the Jack Kelley Rink.

The first period remained scoreless with the Mules outshooting Amherst 9-7. In the second, the Mammoths got on the board on a power play goal to go up 1-0 over Colby. Just over two minutes later, Amherst doubled their lead on another power play goal. In the final period, The Mules had their share of chances but were unable to score. Amherst would add one more goal this period to take a 3-0 win over Colby. Junior goaltender

Clay Korpi, Alec Bourhas, and
Derek Hessinger led the Mules with two blocked shots each.

Colby is back in action on Tuesday, January 10, against the University of New England in Waterville. Puck drop is slated for 7 PM.
