Waterville, Maine- Colby Men's Hockey battles against #14 University of New England in a non-conference ice hockey matchup this past Tuesday night.

In the first period, the Nor'Easters jumped out to an early 1-0 just over two and a half minutes in. UNE outshot the Mules 12-7 this period. The Nor'Easters doubled their lead in the second period, despite Colby outshooting UNE 8-5. Just about halfway into the final period,
Drew Burke pulled the Mules within one goal, scoring his second goal of the season. About seven minutes later, freshman
Connor Gallagher scored his first career goal on the power play, with
John McElaney and
Jack Sullivan being credited with the assists. The Nor'Easters however, would score the go-ahead goal to take the 3-2 win.
CJ Hapward made 21 saves in tonight's game.

The men are back in action this Friday at 7 PM against Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut.
