Clinton, NY- The Colby College Women's Ice Hockey Team traveled to Hamilton College to play against the Continentals, a team in the NESCAC division. The Mules fell 1-0 to the Continentals receiving their first loss of the season. Colby is now 8-1-0 overall and 2-1-0 in the NESCAC conference.
In the first period, the Mules showed off their defensive strength with 10 saves in comparison to the 6 saves of the Continentals. Going into the second period the game was 0-0 and Colby improved offensively with 17 shots, however at 3:58 Hamilton was able to score the only goal of the match. In the third period, the Mules put forth a valiant effort and continued to put on pressure offensively, however ultimately came up short. Goalie

Tomorrow Colby College Women's Ice Hockey will rematch the Hamilton College Continentals in Clinton, NY.
