Box Score Middlebury, Vt- Colby continued their road trip this afternoon against Middlebury, looking to snap their three-game losing streak. Although the Mules started slowly as they found themselves in a 36-28 hole, they managed to close the gap a little before faltering down the stretch. Colby falls to 12-5, and the Panthers go to 13-2.
The Mules struggled to hold onto the ball giving up 16 off turnovers, which contributed to their first-half deficit. Struggles in the paint compounded the Colby deficit as they were outscored 36-28 throughout the game. The Mules were paced throughout the game with 14 points from
Noah Tyson, 12 points from
Will King, and 11 points from
Max Poulton. The Mules hope that after playing those at the top of the table, they can find more success in the coming weeks against those closest to them in the rankings.
