Waterville, Maine- Colby Field Hockey battled today against the Williams College Ephs in a NESCAC matchup on Bill Alfond Field. The Mules would fight hard but would fall to Williams 4-1.

The Ephs got on the scoreboard first eight minutes into the game. Ten minutes, Colby would answer with a goal by sophomore
Pernilla Shaw, scoring in a scramble in front of the net to tie the game. Â

Williams would be able to find the back of the net three more times against the Mules, despite a hard-fought battle that showcased cohesive play and strong passing connections.
Emily Loeb would make three saves on the day for Colby.

The Mules are back in play tomorrow, at noon, against Amherst College in a NESCAC matchup on Bill Alfond Field.
