Waterville, Maine - The Colby College Field Hockey team took on the Eagles of Husson University Sunday and sent the visitors home with a 5-3 defeat.  Colby improves their record to 3-2 while Husson falls to 2-3.  

The Mules started the scoring early when Lillian Kistner tallied her fourth goal of the season less than one minute into play.  Hig Sevigny recorded the assist on the score.  Minutes later, Jackie Hill scored her third of the season, giving the Mules an early 2-0 lead.  Husson was able to get on the board halfway through the first quarter, but Colby responded with three straight goals to take a four goal lead.  Elizabeth Takoudes and Molly Mitchell recorded their first collegiate goals, and Kistner added her fifth of the season.  

The Eagles notched their second of the match just seconds before halftime, and tallied one more score early in the third frame.  Colby turned away all other threats en route to a 5-3 victory.  

The Mules are back in action Saturday when they host the Williams College Ephs.
