Box Score Williamstown, MA - The Colby College Women's Tennis Team fell to the Williams College Ephs by a score of 8-1. The Mules fought hard in doubles but ultimately fell in each match, with Sam Riordan and Sydney Landau fighting back late in the set, but falling by a close 8-5 scoreline. Carly Levitz returned to play with Lindsey Hernandez at #1 doubles, but fell 8-3..

In the singles, the Ephs took 5 of the 6 singles matches, but each match was closely fought. Levitz lost an extremely tight 7-6(4), 7-5 match against the 2021 Division 3 National Singles Champion. Lindsey Hernandez lost a close 7-5, 6-4 match at #4 singles. It was Katharine Dougherty who came up big for the Mules with a 6-4, 7-5 win at #5 singles. She scored her 9th singles win of the season, for the Mules, a season leading stat on CWT.

The Colby College Women's Tennis Team will return to play in their very first NESCAC playoff tournament on Friday, May 6th. The draw will be announced on Monday, May 2nd at 12pm. Look for updates to the Colby College Twitter, Instagram and Athletics Page.
