Box Score Waterville, ME - The Colby College Womens Tennis Team fell to the visiting Wesleyan Cardinals by a score of 8-1 on Sunday, April 24th. Wesleyan got off to the stronger start in doubles, losing only 3 games across all of the doubles matches, giving the Cardinals a 3-0 lead heading into singles.
Wesleyan dominated in the singles, with the Cardinals winning every match except #1 singles by straight set scorelines.
Sam Riordan scored her second biggest singles win in two days, beating the #1 player on the #1 team in the NESCAC 6-7(6), 6-1, 11-9 to give the Mules one point on the board. For Riordan, it is a stellar debut at the #1 position, filling in for
Carly Levitz who has been sidelined with Covid-19.
