Waterville, Maine - The Colby Softball team had their third game in two days against the Tufts University Jumbos. Despite earning their first win since 2006 against Tufts on Friday, the Mules fell in the lone game Saturday by a tight score of 2-0.

Abby Orso was back in the circle for Colby, striking out four in 7.0 innings pitched. The game remained scoreless until the sixth inning when Tufts was able to link together three of their four hits of the afternoon, and score the only two runs of the contest. Offensively, the Mules had four hits on the afternoon, two from
Morgan Fusco, and one hit a piece from
Amanda Cabral and
Jackie Hill. Orso's earned run average on the season after today's game is 1.64, ranked fourth in the NESCAC.

The Mules play again on Monday, April 18, against the University of Southern Maine in Portland, Maine at 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM.
