Standish, Maine - The Colby College Men's Lacrosse team pulled their record to an even 3-3 to close out March with a 15-6 road victory over the Monks of Saint Joseph's College. The win moves the Mules to 2-0 in non-conference play.
Jumping out to a 9-4 lead at the half, Colby had eight different scorers tally goals in the first 30 minutes of play. The Mules were on the mark opening the third period as well, with four unanswered goals extending their lead to 13-4. Two more goals came in the final period for Colby, with
Jack Rickards scored his team-leading 12th goal of the season while first-year
Carson Byrd tallied his first collegiate goal.
Colby is back in action Saturday when they return to NESCAC competition visiting Conn. College. Game time is set for 12:00pm.
