Box Score Los Angeles, CA - The Colby College Women's Tennis beat Occidental College by a score of 9-0. This match marks the first 9-0 victory for the Mules this spring season, with the last one coming this past fall against Husson. The Mules started strong, going up 3-0 after the doubles, which included a nailbiting tiebreak win by Emilia Callery and Caroline Kittle with a 12-10 score. Doubles took an hour and 20 minutes despite the 3-0 sweep, showcasing the fight that Occidental put up. 

In the singles, it was smooth sailing for the Mules. Every singles match was a straight sets win, with All-American #1st singles player Carly Levitz leading the charge with a 6-0, 6-0 win. For Caroline Kittle, it was a maiden college spring singles win for the freshman at the #4 position. Katharine Dougherty and Caleigh McClain also picked up their first singles wins of the season at #6 and #5 respectively. 

The Mules improve their spring season record to 3-1, a strong start for a team looking to finish at the top of the NESCAC. With momentum on their side, the Mules look to get another win against Redlands on Wednesday, March 23rd. They play right after the Men's Team plays doubles.
