Hartford, CONNECTICUT - On February 5th, 2022 the men's squash team traveled down to Hartford to compete in the NESCAC Championships. Up first, the Mules went up against Bowdoin College in the quarter finals, but unfortunately the Mules just fell short with an overall score of 3-6.
Some highlights of the day includes #1 seat
Dylan Tymkiw who played a really tight 5 gamer. Tymkiw started off strong winning his first two games, but then his opponent came back winning the next two games. With the game score being 2-2, Tymkiw knew he had to deliver. After a good pep talk from fellow teammates, Tymkiw strategically won the fifth game, securing the first win of the day for the Mules (11-9, 14-12, 7-11, 9-11, 11-9).
Another highlight includes #3 seat
Adrian Castillo who also played a close 5 gamer. Castillo started off a bit slow, but kept up with his opponent throughout the entire match. Castillo won his second and fourth game, while his opponent won the first and third game. In the end, Castillo delivered and won the overall match, pulling out the second win of the day for the Mules (7-11, 17-15, 9-11, 13-11, 11-5). A last highlight is #4 seat
