Elmira, New York- Colby men's ice hockey battled against Elmira College in their second game this weekend.

The Eagles scored against the Mules with less than five minutes in the first to put them up at a 1-0 advantage over the Mules. CJ Hapward made ten saves in the first period for Colby to keep the Mules within one goal. The second period remained scoreless, with Colby having two power plays in this period. Elmira padded their lead with another goal in the third period over the Mules, answered by Abdoul Diouf scoring a goal assisted by John McElaney to pull Colby within one. The Eagles would pull ahead against the Mules with a late power play goal to give Elmira a 3-1 win over Colby.

The Mules are back in action on Friday, January 6, against Hamilton College at 7 PM in Waterville, Maine.Â
