Brunswick, MAINE- Colby opened their NESCAC schedule in Brunswick taking on Bowdoin. The Mules were strong from start to finish and beat the host Polar Bears 68-52. The win takes the Mules to 7-0 and drops the Polar Bears to 3-3.
The first half saw Colby connect on nearly all their shots which allowed them to open up an eight point halftime lead. The Mules also received 23 points of the bench. Colby was led by 11 points from
Lucas Green and seven points from
Alec McGovern. The Mules played strong defense limiting the Polar Bears to 11 field goals in the first half.
The second half saw the strong shooting continue and allowed the lead to grow to 16 points. The visitors were led in the second half by another seven from McGovern as well as seven from
Noah Tyson. The Mules' strong defense continued as they held Bowdoin to only eight field goals.
Colby will return home on December 3rd when they take on Brandeis University at 3:00 pm.
