Medford, Mass. - The Colby Men's Soccer team recorded its sixth straight tie, fourth straight within the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) after working the Jumbos of Tufts University to a 1-1 score Saturday afternoon. Colby now sits at 2-1-6, ranked eighth in the NESCAC.
Ethan Franco got the scoring started halfway through the first half when he notched his team-leading fourth goal of the season. He is currently tied for third in the conference in goals after tying for the same spot at season-end in the 2021 season. Tufts was able to level the score in the 78th minute of the contest. The Mules and Jumbos have tied four of their last eight matchups.
Brendan McCarthy tallied five stops in goal for Colby, averaging just under four saves/game on the sesaon.
The Mules are back in action Tuesday when they travel to Biddeford to take on the Nor-Easters of UNE.
