Lancaster, PENNSYLVANIA - On January 22, 2022 the Colby Mules traveled down to Lancaster to face off Franklin & Marshall. Overall, the Mules fell short with a score of 2-7 for both the men and the women's team.
Some highlights include #1 seat Andrea Lee who had a close first game that she won, but then after some good coaching from fellow teammates, she dominated the next two games, and beat her opponent with a score of (11-9, 11-4, 11-4). Another highlight is #3 seat India Spencer who played a four game match. Spencer won her first game, but then lost her second game, making the game score 1-1. Although this was a tight match, Spencer came out strong the next two games, and secured the second win of the day for the women (11-8, 9-11, 11-3, 12-10). A last highlight of the day for the women's team was #10 Adelaide Cline who played a tight five game match, and pulled out the third win of the day (9-11, 11-7, 11-6, 6-11, 11-7).
On the men's side, one highlight of the day is #4 seat
Alex Spafford who stayed consistent and focused throughout his match, and secured the first win of the day (11-5, 11-7, 11-8). Another highlight includes #2 seat
Jonathan Sosa Uranga who came out strong winning his first two games, but then just fell short on his third game. With the game score being 2-1, Sosa knew he had to play strategically, and dominated the fourth game, pulling out the second win of the day for the men (13-11, 11-6, 1-11, 11-4).
