Waterville, Maine- The Colby Mules took on the Bates Bobcats this past weekend 1/15/22. The final scores of the meet: Colby Women-116 Bates Women-178 Colby Men-126 Bates Men-168. The Aquamules finished the meet with 11 First place finishes. Colby distance had an incredibly strong showing with Senior Addie Paige picking up first place finish in the 1000 Freestyle (10:43.49) while Sophomores Anthony Minickiello picked up a first place finish in the 1000 Freestyle (10:03.21) and Niels Wu won the 500 Freestyle (4:50.70). Another strong group for the day was diving where Second Year Eleanor McGrath picked up firsts in the 3 Meter Diving (266.09) 1 Meter Diving (261.14) while qualifying for regionals. Fellow Second Year Ivan Knoepflmacher snagged two first place finishes as well 3 meter (193.42) and 1 meter (238.58) scoring his two first wins at the collegiate level. Stay tuned this upcoming weekend where Wesleyan will travel up to Colby for a dual meet.
