New London, Conn. - The women's lacrosse team went on the road this weekend to take on the Connecticut College Camels, bringing home a win 14-6.
Colby Women's Lacrosse played Connecticut College today, winning 14-6. The game began with a quick goal by the Camels, with a returned goal from Colby. Most of the first half was very competitive, with both offenses having trouble connecting feeds. After two successive goals from senior attacker
Grace Langmuir (22) followed by two goals by freshman midfielder
Cami McDonald (8), Colby was able to pick up the pace of their goals, scoring with a combination of drives, penalty shots, and long shots from outside. By the end of the first half, with a rotation of new players, Colby slowed on their goal-scoring.
