Colby Women's Tennis made a dominant start to their spring season with a decisive 9-0 win over out of conference Thomas College on Saturday, March 27. The Mules took early control of the doubles with 8-0 victories for both the #1 doubles pairing of Junior

Isha Banerjee. Colby carried the momentum into the singles, where aggressive tennis and consistent serving resulted in Colby winning every match 6-0,6-0.

For Banerjee, getting back to playing matches meant everything to the team. "It was great to be back on the court and engaging in competition with other teams after so long. Our team has been working really hard and we are all thrilled to be able to have competed today."
The match was Colby's first match of the 2020-2021 spring season. They play Connecticut College next at Colby on Saturday, April 3 at 11 am. Livestreaming will be available on the Colby Tennis Instagram and the Colby Tennis Twitter page.
