The Mules continued their season yesterday, playing in the finale of the Ted Coghlin Memorial Tournament. Unfortunately, the tournament came to an end with a disappointing loss to Worcester Polytechnic Institute, the final score was 66-49. 

Colby struggled to score throughout the game, shooting a combined 21-56 and 5-22 from three. The team was outscored in both halves, putting up 25 to WPI's 34 in the first, and 24 to WPI's 32 in the second. The Mules' starters were able to score only 21 points combined in the game.

Despite the overall poor performance for Colby Basketball, Jack Lawson had a standout game, shooting 6-9 and 1-2 from beyond the three point line for 14 points, providing a sizable portion of Colby's total points. Even with a tough loss like this one, the Mules should still be proud of their performance, especially that of the bench which did a great job keeping Colby in the game when the team needed them most, scoring 28 total points.

Colby Basketball will look to bounce back with a win in their next game at Thomas College on Tuesday, November 16th at 7:00 PM.
