Waterville, MAINE - The Colby Volleyball team took a 6-5 record into Wednesday night's match, hosting the Eagles from Husson University. Dominating all three sets (25-16, 25-11, 25-22), the Mules defeated the Eagles 3-0 and improved to 7-5. Â
Colby owned the match on both sides of the court, holding the advantage in kills (29-18) as well as blocks and digs. Jenny Slaveck led the Mules with 11, and Natalie Bumpus contributed six over the three games. In the back court, Colby posted five blocks and 32 digs. Natalie Simonton, Bumpus, and Morgan Selby all recorded two blocks in a true team effort. Samantha Schultz led the Mules with nine digs.
The Volleyball team is back in action on Mayflower Hill on Friday at 8pm to host the Williams College Ephs.
