Waterville, ME - Colby Women's Soccer remained in Waterville this evening to face the Thomas College Terriers on their turf. A dominant game for the Mules, they emerged victorious with a final score of 4-0.
The Mules came out strong at the start of the first period, with the first shot made by Corrigan Rayhill '24 in the third minute. There were 20 shots at the Terriers' goal made by various members of the Colby team throughout the period, but the breakthrough shot was made by Mannon Frykholm '22 at the 32nd minute of the period. Another goal was successfully scored by Tatiana Clinton '25 later in the half. Meanwhile, the Terriers only made one shot on the Mules' goal, which was saved by goalie Maxine Jamison '24.
The Mules maintained their momentum in the second half. While holding the Terriers to no shots on the goal, the Mules made another 23 attempts. By the end of the period, two more goals were scored by Alessandra Marciano '22.
Colby Women's Soccer is next set to travel to face the Amherst Mammoths on Saturday, October 23 at 12PM EST.
