Box Score Waterville, Maine - The Colby College Women's Lacrosse team brought their A-game against Williams College this Saturday with a decisive 16-10 win over NESCAC-opponent.
GAME NOTES: The Mules built on their momentum from early last week to pull ahead of the Ephs with less than 10 minutes to go in the first half. The two teams were nearly even in draw controls yet Colby outshot Williams 35-24 showing a clear advantage to the Mules in the attacking zone.
HIGHLIGHTS FOR THE MULES:

Eliza Dean (88) worked the draw circle to come up with seven out of Colby's twelve total draw controls.

Dean and Sarah Stark (12) collected nearly half of the Mules ground balls with six and four respectively.

Colby had seven different goal scorers. Annie Eddy (24) and Gianna Bruno (11) scored four apiece.

There were only 17 shots against the Mules and Emily Podgorni (00) made seven saves.
HIGHLIGHTS FOR THE EPHS:

Williams had three yellow cards throughout the game, playing man-down for a total of 15 minutes.

Claire Fitzpatrick (15) scored five of the Ephs 10 goals. Of her shots on goal she scored 83% of them.

Kami Cisneros (46) and Caitlyn Joyce (30) each played a half in goal and they each made six saves.
KEY STATS:

Williams had 20 turnovers to Colby's 10, clearly affecting William's ability to execute in the attacking end.

Colby kept the momentum their way with twice as many caused turnovers as the Ephs.

Despite losing in draw controls 15-12, the Mules were able to capitalize when they had the chance, winning each half 9-4 and 7-6 respectively.
