CAMBRIDGE – Nationally ranked #21, Colby men's squash team defeated #24, Tufts University 5-4 in a close consolation match of the Summers Cup at the College Squash Association Championships on Saturday. The match was played at Harvard University. 

Highlight Matches for the Mules began with the #5 seed Jack Vanderhorst earned the Mules' first win by 10-12, 11-8, 11-8, 11-6 scores against freshman Vivaan Jaikishan. Colby's #2 seed, Alex Spafford, also won his second match over Jumbo senior co-captain Raghav Kumar 3-1. Another point was added to Colby's board as Duda Voldman won the ninth match over senior Connor Wind, 3-2. 

The Mule's ended the match in a 5-4 vicotry. Alexander Kurtin and Ryan Santoro sealed the deal with the final two wins for the evening for Colby.
