Box Score WATERVILLE, Maine - The Colby College Women's Ice Hockey team came back late in the third to take the victory over Hamilton College, 2-1.
GAME NOTES: Down 1-0 after the first, the Mules battled on the power play to get the goal. Colbby's power play helped move their record to 12-4-3 overall (7-2-2 NESCAC).
HIGHLIGHTS FOR THE MULES:
- McKinley Karpa scored the power play goal at 4:34 in the second period. Bri Michaud-Nolan and Tess Dupre assisted on the score.
- Cindy Giandomenico (photo inset) scored the game winner in the final frame. Lauren Klein and Tay Munson assisted on the play at 17:22.
- Nina Prunster finished with 35 saves on the night, moving her record to 6-2-1 overall.
HIGHLIGHTS FOR THE CONTINENTALS:
- Abby Kuhns scored the early goal for Hamilton at 7:15 of the opening period. Missy Segall passed the puck into the zone to earn the assist.
- Sidney Molnar tallied 18 saves on the night.
- Hamilton took the shots category, 36-20.
- Nancy Loh led the team with 5 shots.
KEY STATS:
- Karpa now ties to lead the Mules with 16 points (seven goals, nine assists).
- Senior Captain Dupre tallied her 35th point of her career with an assist.
