Box Score Brunswick, ME – The Colby College Men's Basketball team goes 2-0 on the year against in-state NESCAC rival Bowdoin College with 81-67 road victory.
GAME NOTES
- It was a close battle throughout the first half with Sam Jefferson and Alex Dorion each pitching in 14 points before half. Colby led by three at half by a score of 36-33. Matt Hanna Had nine of his 10 points in the second half and Will King added 10 of his 14 points in the second half as well to guide Colby on their way to a 81-67 victory.
HIGHLIGHTS FOR THE MULES
- Colby had 4 players score in double figures. Sam Jefferson led all scorers with 24 points. He went 9-15 from the field and 6-12 from three.
Alex Dorion had 19 points hitting 7-11 of his shots from the field. He shot 50% from beyond the arc.
- Will King (headline photo) pitched in 14 points and led all players with eight assists.
- Matt Hanna added 10 points for the Mules.
HIGHLIGHTS FOR THE POLAR BEARS
- Bowdoin was led by their leading scorer, David Reynolds who had 22 points. He went 7-14 from the field and 4-8 from three. Reynolds is third in the NESCAC averaging 20.7 points per game.
- Sam Grad had 12 points for the Polar Bears hitting 5-9 shots. He also dished out six assists.
- Stephen Ferraro added 10 points on the afternoon.

- Noah Tyson is fifth in the NESCAC in rebounds per game with 8.5.
- Jefferson leads the NESCAC with 23.4 points per game and three point percentage at 50%. He is third in the conference with a 61.3% field goal percentage.
- Colby is averaging 83.4 points per game and shooting 48.1% from the field in conference play.
