Box Score Northampton, MA – The Colby College Women's Basketball team uses a big second half to pull away from the Anna Maria College Amcats and take a 72-52 victory in their final game at the Smith Holiday Tournament.
GAME NOTES
- The Mules were down by two points going into the second quarter but were able to turn things around and take a 32-29 lead at half time. Colby used hot shooting and strong defense in the second half to distance themselves. The Mules scored 40 points and held Anna Maria to just 23 to come away with the 20 point neutral site non-conference win.
HIGHLIGHTS FOR THE MULES
- The Mules had four players score in double figures.
Alisha Aube (photo insert) led the way with 21 points shooting 8-15 from the field. She also added five assists and four rebounds.
- Ainsley Burns pitched in with 12 points for Colby.
- Jane MacKerron and Brooke Guiffre each had 10 points. MacKerron shot 50% from the field while Guiffre hit 4-6 field goals and went 2-4 from beyond the arc.
HIGHLIGHTS FOR THE AMCATS
- Amber Wilson had a double-double for Anna Maria with 27 points and 10 rebounds. She went 10-19 from the field and 2-3 from three point land. She was also 5-7 from the free throw line.
- Sienna Johnson did her part for the Amcats pitching in 10 points.

- The Mules shot 45.2% from the field and 34.8% from three.
- Guiffre and MacKerron are leading the Mules on the year with a 51% shooting percentage from the field. Grace Coutu is close behind at 46%.
