HAMILTON, N.Y. -- The Colby College women's squash team finished ninth at the NESCAC Championships after taking wins over Bowdoin College and Connecticut College on Saturday at Colgate University.
The ninth-seeded Mules took a 5-4 win over 11th-seeded Bowdoin and a 7-2 victory against 10th-seeded Conn College in a consolation bracket.
First position player Devin Mullaney, fifth spot Lily Wain, and eighth position Sophie Langlois each went 2-0 on the day. Anna Gildea fought back from 2-0 down at the eighth spot against Bowdoin for 11-6, 11-4, 11-8 set wins. Sophie Langlois and D'Arcy Carlson won both 3-0 matches.
Julianna Song, Sydney Annalise Ku, Olivia Silverman, and Madeline Latimore were other winners against Hamilton.
