With two starters out, men's basketball falls to Eagles

BANGOR, Maine -- Colby College's Sean Gilmore had a perfect shooting night, but Husson University received 33 points from Raheem Anderson in an 83-75 non-conference men's basketball win over the Mules on Tuesday.

The Mules are 10-7 overall and will play host to Amherst College on Friday at 7 p.m. The Eagles moved to 13-4 overall.
 
By the numbers
* Gilmore (pictured) was 6-for-6 from the field, made his lone 3-point shot, and hit both free throw on the way to 15 points.
 
* Wallace Tucker finished with 24 points and three assists for the Mules. Steven Daley had 10 points, and eight rebounds, while Pat Dickert and Ethan Schlager both had seven rebounds.
 
Game highlights
* The Mules, playing without starters Dean Weiner and Matt Hanna, fell behind 44-38 at halftime and never led in the second half. Colby only trailed 67-64 after Wallace went 2-for-2 from the foul line.
