Sam Spadaro joined the Colby Women's Basketball coaching staff in the summer ahead of the 2024-25 academic year.
Before coming to Mayflower Hill, Spadaro was an assistant coach for three years at the College of Staten Island, a D2 program in NY. She was responsible for scouting, recruiting, and guard development. In the teams first year of playoff eligibility (after transitioning from the D3 level) the Dolphins earned a spot in the conference playoffs and won the quarterfinal game against a higher ranked opponent before losing to the #1 seed in the semifinals. Spadaro coached an All-Conference & All-MET player, Jenalyse Alarcon, in both the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons.
Spadaro is originally from Staten Island, NY and graduated from Springfield College in 2019 earning a Bachelors in Exercise Science while being a member of the Women's Basketball program. In 2021, Spadaro graduated from Temple University with a Masters in Sport Business, where she was a graduate manager for the Women's Basketball team.
