Riley Field joined the Colby Field Hockey coaching staff for the 2022-23 academic year. She has been coaching since she was young, helping with both youth and high school teams while being a college athlete.
Before Colby, Field played four years of Division I Field Hockey at the University of Maine where as a First Year was selected to the All-Rookie Team in the America East Conference. Junior year, she scored a career high of five goals and a career high of eight assists on the season. Field ended her collegiate career as a senior captain and starting in 76 out of the 77 games played throughout those four years.
Being a native to Sidney, Maine Field played at Messalonskee High School where she served as captain her Junior and Senior year for Head Coach Katie McLaughlin. Riley helped lead the Lady Eagles to three Eastern Maine Runner-Up finishes and was a 2015 Miss-Maine Field Hockey nominee.
