Nicole Clark returned to Colby Athletics in January 2023 after serving as Bates' equipment manager from 2018-2022. She previously held the role of equipment manager at Colby from 2008-2018.
Currently, as the Assistant Director of Athletics/Head Equipment Manager at Colby, she leads all aspects of equipment operations including management of student workers, procurement, inventory management, and she oversees laundry services.
Clark's duties for Bates Athletics included procurement, distribution, inventory and repair of equipment, as well as field coverage for 31 varsity teams. She served on several committees at Bates, including the Bates Agents of Change Coalition and the Athletics DEI Committee.
Clark completed her undergraduate work at the University of Maine at Farmington in 2008, where she was the sports photographer for the student newspaper. She graduated from Southern New Hampshire University in 2016 with a Master's in Sport Management.
Clark is a member of the Athletic Equipment Managers Association and became certified in 2017. As a member of the AEMA, she assumed leadership positions including serving as the District 1 Secretary, also serving on the Policy and Procedure Committee, the Education committee and the Role Delineation Committee. Clark is also a member of the Women of the AEMA and has presented at the National Convention.
She has volunteered her services for the Dream Bowl game in Virginia as well as the Maine Lobster Bowl.
Clark resides in Waterville with her daughter Autumn.
