Dr. Elizabeth Rothe earned her medical degree from University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in Pittsburgh, Pa. and completed family medicine residency training at Maine Medical Center, where she also later completed a primary care sports medicine fellowship. She is certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine with added qualifications in sports medicine. She practiced family and sports medicine for 10 years in Lewiston, Maine before joining the Maine General Sports Medicine Team. She is currently the associate director of the Sports Medicine Fellowship program and has been the head Team Physician for Colby College since 2019.
