Colby College

Emma Kuivila joined the Colby Volleyball coaching staff ahead of the 2024-25 academic year.

Prior to Colby, Kuivila graduated from Bethany College (WV) where she played on the varsity volleyball team. The Bison's grabbed back to back PAC (Presidents' Athletic Conference) titles while making three consecutive championship appearances and two NCAA appearances over Kuivila's four year collegiate career. She finished her undergraduate degree with a BA in Sports Studies with a Sports Management track.

Outside of varsity volleyball, Kuivila worked with the administrative team at two separate volleyball clubs: Impact Sports Academy (Tallmadge, OH) and the Ohio Valley Volleyball Company (Tridelphia, WV). She served as both a head and assistant coach for numerous club teams at the Ohio Valley Volleyball Company with ages ranging from 16-18 over the course of four years. Kuivila also worked as a private lesson instructor and skills coach.
