Major: Government and Global Studies
Why I chose Colby: "I chose Colby because people here really care about their education while also being very involved in athletics and extracurriculars. Maine is also a beautiful state!"
Internship/Work Experience: On campus, Kirschenbaum is a Community Advisor and works at the Mary Low Coffeehouse. This past summer Kirschenbaum worked as a research assistant for a professor in the Government Department, focusing on democracy and human rights in Latin America.
Favorite Place on Campus: "Mary Low Coffee House and Johnson Pond."
Most Memorable Team Experience: "Right now (in Fall 2020) it’s not just one experience but all the times we have spent playing outside on a grass court. Watching our team work harder than ever to practice even though there are many obstacles in our way, it has been so exciting seeing our team come together and bring a traditionally inside sport outside!"
Plans After Colby: "I would love to get a masters in International Affairs and eventually work in a field relating international relations and/or human rights."
What do you think of the new Athletic Center?: "The new athletic center is beautiful! The lighting inside is incredible, and I am so excited to play on the new court!"
