Alexa graduated from Groton-Dunstable and played volleyball.
AT COLBY
Alexa is majoring in Global Studies and Economics. She is a Colby Cares About Kids mentor, SGA class senator, and the co-president of Colby Dancers. Alexa works as a senior admissions fellow. She studied abroad in Geneva, Switzerland. She has interned for Senator Elizabeth Warren and an NGO in Germany.
2016 season highlights: Busser played in every match and finished second on the team in blocks (63). She also recorded 144 kills, six assists, five service aces, and 35 digs. She was on the NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team for the third straight year.
2015 season highlights: Busser finished her junior season sixth on the team in kills (73) and second with 48 blocks. Alexa was on the NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team.
2014 season highlights: Busser was fourth on the Mules in kills (102) and was third in blocks (51). Alexa was on the NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team.
2013 season highlights: Alexa was fifth on the Mules in kills (101), was third in blocks (44), had 16 service aces, and 25 digs. Busser also was second on Colby in attack percentage.
