2020-21 Women's Track and Field
Biography
Why I Chose Colby: I wanted a small liberal arts school where I could have meaningful relationships with both my peers and professors. I also wanted to have a more personal experience and have the chance to explore a broad range of topics outside of my specific major.
Major: Economics with Financial Markets and Global Studies
What do you think of the new Athletic Center?: I am really excited to see the new direction Colby is taking in athletics. I think a state-of-the-art facility will also attract top notch athletes to Colby and help expand the success of the program!
Favorite Place on Campus: Miller! I spend all my time here!
Most Memorable Team Experience: One of my favorite team experiences has been the Aloha Relays that happen every year for the women's team. The high level of comradery and competition always make me really happy to be a part of track. I especially enjoyed running a PR time during one of the rainiest days of the season and having all of my teammates keep their spirits high despite the weather!
Internship/Work Experience: This past summer, I worked at an Environmental Data Analytics firm where I got to research the function and significance of ESG ratings on company marketability and work on business pitches.
Plans After Colby: My tentative plans after Colby are to work in business, more specifically consulting.
