Biography

BEFORE COLBY

Isa graduated from The Governor’s Academy, where she was a member of the volleyball, basketball, and outdoor track teams. Isa was the recipient of the volleyball and track Coaches Awards, and also received the Peter French Memorial Athletic Trophy.

AT COLBY 

Isa is an Environmental Science major at Colby.

2017 outdoor track season highlights: Isa placed first in the high jump and second in the triple jump at the Tufts Sunshine Classic. She placed third in the high jump and sixth in the triple jump at the Aloha Relays. Berzansky also was sixth in the high jump at the NESCAC meet. She was on the NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team.

2017 indoor track season highlights: Berzansky finished in seventh place in the high jump at the New England Division III meet and ninth place in the Open New England Championships. She won the high jump competition at the Maine State meet, the Bowdoin Invitational, and in a tri-meet with Bates and MIT. Isa took second in the high jump at the Wheaton Invitational. In triple jump competition, Isa won at the Bowdoin meet and took sixth at the state meet. Isa was named to the NESCAC Winter All-Academic Team.

2016 outdoor season highlights: Berzansky finished second in the high jump at the New England Division III Championships. She was eighth at the NESCAC meet and finished inth at the ECAC Division III Championships. Isa started the outdoor season at the PLNU Invitational with a fifth-place finish in the high jump and a ninth in the triple jump. At the Colby Open, Berzansky jumped to a victory in the high jump, setting a personal best at the time with a mark of 1.64 meters and a sixth-place finish in javelin, also setting a personal best with a mark of 27.00 meters. Isa then finished the Aloha Relays with a sixth-place finish in the triple jump and a 13th-place finish in the javelin. 

2016 indoor track season highlights: Berzansky competed in the high jump as a first-year, finishing third at the New England Division III Championships, sixth at the Open New England Championships, and sixth at the ECAC meet. She won the Maine State Championships and was fourth at both the Bates tri-meet and the Wheaton Invitational.

2015 volleyball season highlights: Berzansky finished her first year with the team by appearing in four matches, recording two defensive digs.
