BEFORE COLBY
Katherine graduated summa cum laude from Thornton Academy and played soccer. She was also named to the all-academic team and the National Honor Society.
AT COLBY
Katherine is a Government major and has a minor in Managerial Economics. She is a Colby Cares About Kids mentor, a Student Athletic Advisory Committee member, and a JP Mule Games Steering Committee member. Over the summer, she has interned for the Angus King for U.S. Senate Campaign and for the Global Partnership to End Violence Against Children.
2018 season highlights: Gillespie played in 15 games for the Mules and started every game. She finished the season with two goals and one assist. She was on the NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team.
2017 season highlights: Gillespie played in 14 games for the Mules, making 13 starts. She finished the season with one goal and two assists. Katherine was on the NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team.
2016 season highlights: Katherine played in 14 games for the Mules, making 12 starts. She finished the season with an assist. Gillespie was named to the NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team.
2015 season highlights: Gillespie started in 15 games for the Mules, finishing the year with three goals, one assist, and 19 shots.
