Biography

Why I chose Colby: "I chose Colby because once I stepped foot on this campus, I didn't want to leave. I loved the atmosphere of Colby athletics and immediately knew I wanted to be a part of the team. I was also impressed by the opportunities that I felt Colby would give me academically that I wouldn't be able to find in many other places."

Summer Internship/Work Experience: "I have worked two summers for Dr. Peter Asnis, Chief of Sports Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. There I was a research assistant working on multiple projects and papers relating to anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. On campus, I am an Information Desk Attendant in Cotter Union and an Organic Chemistry Lab TA. I also work in Professor Whitney King's environmental chemistry research lab."

Major: Chemistry

Plans After Colby: "I plan to work in medical research and as an EMT in the Boston area for the year following my graduation from Colby. Then, I plan to begin medical school in the fall of 2021."
