Why I chose Colby: "I choose Colby because I loved the people when I came on my overnight. Everyone was involved in so many things on campus but also seemed to be happy and enjoying their college experience. For me it was important not only to find a rigorous academic institution but also enter a community full of people who are excited about what they are pursuing."

Internship/Work Experience: Jane is an intern at the Colby College Museum of Art, and a Research Assistant for the Lunder Institute of American Art.

Major: Art History and Psychology

Most Memorable Team Experience: "Traveling to Los Angles last year for a tournament over Christmas Break."

2018-19 season highlights: Jane, who earned NESCAC Winter All-Academic Team honors, played in 21 games for the Mules this season. She was first on the team in rebounds (6.2) and tied for first in blocks (1.4) per conference game.

2017-18 season highlights: MacKerron played in 11 games for the Mules this season. She had a field goal percentage of 38.1, averaged 2.0 points per game, and averaged 1.8 rebounds per game. Jane was on the NESCAC Winter All-Academic Team.

2016-17 season highlights: MacKerron played in 14 games for the Mules in her first season. She averaged 1.3 points and 2.2 rebounds per contest.
