Biography

BEFORE COLBY

Jackie graduated from Darien High School, where she played lacrosse and field hockey.

AT COLBY

Jackie is majoring in Psychology and has a minor in Creative Writing. She is a Colby Cares About Kids mentor and a member of Colby Leadership Academy.

2018 season highlights: Jackie earned her second IWLCA All-American honor and was Colby's Millett Award winner for top female senior athlete. She earned her fourth IWLCA All-Region honor and was on the All-NESCAC team for the third time. Brokaw finished the year second on the team in caused turnovers (24) and third in ground balls (32). She also had an assist and a draw control. Jackie was on the NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team.

2017 season highlights: Jackie made the IWLCA All-Region First Team for the second straight year and was on an all-region team for the third straight season. Brokaw also was on the All-NESCAC Second Team after finishing second on the team in ground balls (28) and second in caused turnovers (22). Jackie was the NESCAC Rookie of the Year and has made the All-NESCAC team two years in a row.

2016 season highlights: Brokaw was an IWLCA Second Team All-American as a sophomore. She played in 15 games and made 15 starts for the Mules, finishing the year second on the team in ground balls (25) and tied for the team lead and was 8th in the NESCAC with 23 caused turnovers. She was an All-NESCAC First Team and a NESCAC Spring All-Academic selection.

2015 season highlights: Jackie was the NESCAC Rookie of the Year, was on the IWLCA All-Region Second Team, and the ECAC Second Team after a terrific season on defense. She appeared in 16 games, 12 as a starter. Brokaw finished the season with a team-leading 29 ground balls, and was second on the team with 16 caused turnovers. Brokaw also had seven draw controls in 2015. She was 15th in the NESCAC in ground balls and tied for 15th in caused turnovers.
