BEFORE COLBY
Bridget graduated from Scarsdale High School, where she was a member of the field hockey, ski, and lacrosse teams. She was a member of the Signifer Honor Society and won the Golden Dozen Award (field hockey, lacrosse) and the Nina F. Mooney Award. She also received the Lacrosse Golden Dozen Award, the Field Hockey Golden Dozen Award, and Academic All-American honors.
AT COLBY
Bridget is double majoring in French and Psychology, with a minor in Economics. She is a Presidential Scholar and a member of the Psi Chi Honor Society. Bridget is on the Student Athletic Advisory Committee and is a Colby Cares About Kids mentor. She works as a research assistant for the Psychology Department. Over the summer, she worked as an advisory intern at PwC.
2018 season highlights: Horwood played in 11 games for the Mules and finished with six goals and five assists. She also had eight ground balls, three draw controls, a .462 shot percentage, and caused two turnovers. Bridget was on the NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team.
2017 season highlights: Bridget finished with one goal and one assist. She also had six ground balls, four draw controls, and one caused turnover. Horwood was on the NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team.
2016 season highlights: Horwood played in 12 games for the Mules and made four starts. She finished the year with four goals, four assists, nine ground balls, and four caused turnovers.
