BEFORE COLBY
Kailey graduated from Milton Academy, where she ran cross country and played ice hockey. She was an Independent School League (ISL) Honorable Mention selection in hockey.
AT COLBY
Kailey majors in Economics. She is a Colby Cares About Kids mentor, a Colby Leadership Academy member, and a football administrative assistant. She had an internship at EMC last summer.
2016-17 season highlights: Buxbaum became just the 11th player since the 2001-02 season to play in 100 career games or more. She played in all 24 during her senior season and finished with 100. She had one goal and six assists on the year. She finished her Colby career with seven goals and 17 assists.
2015-16 season highlights: Buxbaum played in all 25 games for the Mules and tallied one goal and one assist.
2014-15 season highlights: Buxbaum played in all 25 games for the Mules and finished the season with one goal and five assists. She was on the NESCAC Winter All-Academic Team.
2013-14 season highlights: Kailey was tied for sixth on the team in scoring with four goals and five assists for nine points. She had one game-winning goal and two of her four goals were in conference play.
