Biography

BEFORE COLBY

Taylor ran cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track at Notre Dame Academy. She was captain of both the cross country and track teams. She also earned Patriot Ledger All-Scholastic for cross country, Catholic Conference All-Star for two consecutive years, and Dual County League All-Star for three consecutive years. She was also a part of the National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, and the Scholar’s Program.

AT COLBY 

Taylor is a Biology major with a concentration in Neuroscience and has a Computer Science minor. She is a junior high tutor and a member of the Hardy Girls Healthy Women group at Colby.

2017 season highlights: Taylor was 23rd at the Maine State Championships and 65th at the NESCAC meet. She also competed at the New England regional meet and was on the NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team.

2016 season highlights: Kennedy finished 19th at Maine State Championships, but had missed races due to injury. She was on the NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team.

2015 season highlights: Kennedy finished first in the Bates first-year/sophomore race to open the season, then took 48th at the Lehigh Invitational, fifth at the Maine State Championships, and 48th at the NESCAC Championships. At the New England Division III Championships, Kennedy took 48th. She was on the NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team.

 

2014 season highlights: Kennedy had a strong first season with the Mules. She opened the year with a second-place finish in the first-year/sophomore race at Bates, then continued with a 10th place finish at the Middlebury Invitational. Kennedy closed her season with a sixth-place finish at the Maine State Championships, a 28th-place finish at the NESCAC Championships, and a 39th at the New England Division III Championships.
