Biography
BEFORE COLBY
Sarah ran cross country, competed in indoor track and field, and played lacrosse at Mansfield High School. She was part of the National Honor Society and the Spanish National Honor Society. Sarah helped Mansfield to two league championships in cross country and track and field. She was a two-time winner of the Coaches Award for lacrosse.
AT COLBY
Sarah is a Government major and has a minor in Human Development. She is part of the PPEP Career Center program.
2016 season highlights: Fernandez finished 12th at the Bates senior/sophomore race and 55th at the Maine State Championships. She was on the NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team.
