Michaela graduated from Phillips Exeter Academy and captained the indoor and outdoor track teams. She also played field hockey and was a member of the cross country team.

Michaela has a double major in English and American Studies.
2016 cross country season highlights: Michaela was on the NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team.
2016 outdoor season highlights: Morris started the outdoor season at the Bowdoin Invitational with a fifth-place finish in the 1,500 meters. Michaela followed it up with a second-place finish in the 1,500 meters at the Colby Open. At the Aloha Relays, Morris raced to an eighth-place finish in the 800 meters, along with a personal-best time of 2:25.20, and competed in the 4x800 meter relay. Michaela finished out her first year at the NESCAC Championships, helping the 4x800 meter relay team to an eighth, along with finishing 20th in the 1,500 meters and setting a personal best with a time of 4:56.04.
2016 indoor season highlights: Morris finished fifth in the 1,000 meters at the Bates tri-meet to open the indoor season. Michaela competed in the 800 meters for the remainder of the season, finishing third at the Wheaton Invitational and ninth at the Maine State Championships.
2015 cross country season highlights: Morris opened the season by taking 15th in the Bates first-year/sophomore race, then took 38th at the Bowdoin Invitational, 47th at the Maine State Championships, and 95th at the NESCAC Championships.
