Why I chose Colby: "I knew I wanted to pursue medicine after undergrad. Colby allowed me to not only fulfill my pre-med requirements, but allowed me the opportunity to study what I was interested in, beyond medicine. The opportunities on campus were also wildly appealing. I knew I would receive an incredible education and still be able to manage playing a sport aside from my academics. Both the professors and coaches are dedicated to your studies, shaping you into the best person you can be, and preparing you for what's to come next!"

2018 season highlights: Deming finished in third place at the University of Maine at Augusta Invitational and 12th at the junior/senior race against Bates. She was on the NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team.
