BEFORE COLBY

Helen graduated from Hall High School, where she was a member of the field hockey, indoor track, and outdoor track teams. A Connecticut scholar athlete, she was named All-Conference in both sports and All-State in field hockey. Helen interned at the Connecticut Secretary of the State office. 

AT COLBY 

Helen is majoring in Government with minors in Anthropology and Computer Science. She is a tutor for the Computor Science Department, a research assistant for the Government Department, and a Community Advisor.

2018 season highlights: Chavey was name to NESCAC Second Team All-Conference.

2017 season highlights: Helen placed fifth overall at the Keene State Invitational. She was 68th at the NESCAC championship meet, 70th at the NCAA New England Regional, and 70th at a tough Rowan meet. Helen was on the NCAA Division III All-Academic Team.

2016 season highlights: Chavey finished 23rd at the Maine State Championships and 97th at the NESCAC Championships.

2015 season highlights: Chavey opened the seaon by taking fifth in the Bates first-year/sophomore race. She then finished 20^th at the Maine State Championships and 106^th at the NESCAC Championships.
